The standard most strategies fail.

Before any strategy appears on Tradevanto, it passes ten hard filters and a minimum four-week live trial. Most candidates do not make it. This page explains exactly what we check and what gets a live strategy removed.

The ten filters

We evaluate every candidate strategy against ten hard filters. A candidate that fails any one of them is out, regardless of how good the rest looks. In plain language:

01

A real live account.

Not a demo, not a contest account. Real money.

02

Independently verified data.

Both the track record and the trading privileges are verified on MyFxBook.

03

At least twelve continuous months of live history.

04

Drawdown discipline.

Equity drawdown has never exceeded 30%.

05

No martingale or grid behavior.

No adding to losing positions to trade a way out. We test for the statistical signatures and do not publish the tests.

06

Full transparency.

Complete public trade history, no hidden trades, no unexplained gaps.

07

Genuine growth.

Profits come from trading, not from deposit timing.

08

Statistical significance.

At least 100 closed trades.

09

Liquid instruments.

Primarily major currency pairs, gold, or major indices.

10

A style that survives copying.

No latency-sensitive tick scalping, because followers must get what the record shows.

The trial

Passing the filters is not enough. Every strategy then runs a minimum four-week live trial on our standard before anything is published. The trial exists because records are easier to polish than behavior: we watch how the strategy actually trades, week by week, before it ever reaches you.

The de-listing policy

Publication is not permanent. If a live strategy breaches our standard, it is removed, and followers are informed factually within 48 hours. A removed strategy is announced, not hidden, because a curation service that quietly deletes its failures is not a curation service.

Most strategies do not make it

Most strategies we review never appear on this site, and we say so, because the rejection rate is the honest measure of a standard. Anyone can claim rigorous vetting. Being willing to say how rarely strategies survive ours is what makes the claim credible.
